I love a good secretary with a hutch. This one is a nice shape and in very good condition. There is no glass, but I prefer it that way.
Now I have no need of this. I knew I wasn't going to buy it. But I really wanted a picture of it anyway. To just remember this moment. It's something I would like to have someday. Just not now. What I really hoped to convey was the absolutely crazy color.
I hoped that this picture would really bring it home, but you still can't tell. It was mustard colored. Like a dijon color. And if that wasn't enough, it's marbleized. From the way it's on the whole thing, I think the paint is original.
Hi, Trudy! This is a lovely piece of furniture! We have a secretary that my parents gave us years ago and it's still one of my favorite pieces. Though I've been thinking of painting it for quite a while now. Maybe one of these days.
